Here is one of our handmade Viking war shields and it comes painted in red and black as shown. The shield was cut from a solid piece of 1/2" plywood making it stronger than the ones our Ancestors carried and has been glued with linen on the front of the shield and a special glue stain on the back to give it that worn distressed look. The shield boss is riveted to the shield as well and it comes with the forearm strap.  Select option below to add adjustable shoulder strap (sold seperately) to throw it over your back when your not battling.
