This is our Helm of Awe war shield and its been handmade from a solid piece of 3/8" plywood making it stronger than the ones our Ancestors used. We then lay a layer of glue on the face of the shield and lay down linen and another layer of glue making this shield ready for battle. It comes with the Helm of Awe hand painted on the front and adorned with a wrapped leather border and tacks and nails to give it a decorative finish. It comes with a leather wrapped handle on the back, adjustable forearm strap, and our Rune logo on the back as well as D-rings to attach our back strap (sold Seperately).
